I bought my juicer in November 2019. I've used it almost daily since then, and it's working very well. A very good value juicer. It works well for celery juice, which was what I initially wanted. You do have to chop everything well which is a bit of a chore at times, not to mention time-consuming, but nevertheless I'm still very happy with this purchase. The purchase process with Juicers.ie was faultless, speedy and accurate. This was also the case when I purchased my Vitamix blender, my dehydrator, water distiller, and air purifier from this site over the previous years. Trustworthy.

It's great. Pretty silent compared to most juicers, easy to assemble, disassemble and clean once you get the hang of it. The juice tastes great, it feels like it's really nutritious.
so nice and easy to use. quiet and powerful.can make a lot of good juice. pour water to clean then use again with different produce. Awesome. bit longer to clean but its a joy.
Opened box set it up n prepped veg did not like the machine as I was use to sage fast juicer but after a few days I mastered the cutting to size ect n now love my machine ..easy to clean n really great yield .. highly recommend#
Love the juicer. I cut all produce into smaller pieces to help out the machine. Some pulp is in the juice sometimes, but i don't mind. I compared carrot pulp from Omega with my centrifugal Philips - day and night. It's much dryer. Leafy greens do give quite some foam though, it's the only "downside", but i don't mind. Many thanks to John from discountjuicers.com for his great work on youtube, that's were I've learnt this juicer is the best for me. Highly recommend the juicer, easy to clean.
I broke 3 juicers already, it was time to invest in my health and get a high quality juicer. Very easy to assembly and the self cleaning function is very clever. The quality of the juice is amazing, it worth the money very much.

The new Omega VERT VSJ843RS Slow Juicer in silver is the latest vertical juicer released by the established Omega Juicers brand. The new Omega VERT VSJ843RS is very similar to the lasted Hurom HH 11 Elite Juicer and features the same front end parts including the 2 winged augur that spins at only 43 rpms, upgraded steel Ultem Juicing screens and easy assembly parts. Like the Hurom HH 11 Elite the new Omega VRT VSJ produces exceptionally high juice yield and does an excellent job on leafy greens. John from Discount Juicers reviews the new VSJ843Q, The Omega VSJ843R series is designed for the Irish/European market and has the same juicing technology and performance as the VSJ843Q versions in the USA.
Traditional slow speed horizontal masticating juicers have a much smaller surface area on the juicing strainer and augur which somewhat restricts the juice extraction process. Vertical changed that process by moving the juicing mechanism to the top of the juice extractor and using a strainer with a larger surface area which results in the juice passing through much quicker after it has been juiced. While still operating at only 43 RPM’s Vertical Masticating juicers can produce a litre of juice in about half the time it takes in traditional horizontal machines.
In the past customers who have been frustrated by the slow speed of horizontal masticating juicers have opted for centrifugal juicers however high speed juicers oxidise the juice quickly resulting in poorer nutritional value, very little enzymes and no storage value, however with the latest range of vertical juicers you get the benefit of much faster processing times with juice that can be stored for 48 hours with minimal loss of nutrients.
Another benefit in having the juicing mechanism at the top of the juicer means the produce you feed in pretty much self-feeds as the augur screw draws the produce in, eliminating the need to use the food pusher with anything but leafy greens.
The augur screw and juice strainer are made from GE-Ultem material which is food safe, BPA Free and eight times stronger than the normal material used on juicers.
Vertical Juicers like the Omega VRT VSJ are a doddle to clean. Simply pour in water after you’ve made your juice and you can flush out much of the residual pulp.
Vertical juicers are easy to assemble, disable and clean and take approximate 50% of the time to make a juice compared to Horizontal juicers.
