We love it. Weren't sure whether to get a twin augur or not. This is a single verticle augur. It's a big weighty augur and pulps everything easily. You get great juice. The pulp isn't as dry as twin augur machine but it's close. It has a reverse gear too which is brilliant if things get stuck. This is a cinch to clean and we've 3 young kids so time is important. Its very well made too. Big solid parts. Super simple to use. I'd highly recommend it. It looks cool too and the kids love it.

As you might expect from a Kuvings, the B1700 is equipped with a wide feeding chute, 76mm to be precise. This means that the juicer can handle being fed larger chunks of produce while maintaining a good yield.
Not only does this reduce the preparation time, as less chopping is required, but it also slightly reduces the processing time. This is in part thanks to its single wing Ultem augur which is specifically designed for wide feed juicing.
In addition to the benefits of wide feed juicing, the B1700 also benefits from a smart juice cap which reduces leakage and helps ingredients mix together to create a rich, natural juice with minimum hassle.
The spinning brush and strainer can be washed by twisting them against each other, making this juicer a breeze to clean.
The B1700 is a more streamlined juicer compared to some of its siblings. The main benefit of this is, of course, its affordability, but this is also a much more compact juicer than some of its larger counterparts.
Its modern design, high quality BPA-free materials, smaller footprint and low-noise design make this a very subtle and unobtrusive machine, a great fit for many kitchen environments.
