The cornerstones of the BBQ & Press™ Grill are the ceramic grilling plates that have been designed for optimal performance to distribute heat evenly and quickly. Additionally, they benefit from a PFOA and PTFE free non-stick coating, which helps to keep mess to a minimum for fast cleaning.
Each plate is also reversible, with each sporting a flat side and a ribbed griddle side that makes for easy and delicious searing lines.
To ensure you can personalise results to your exact tastes, Sage has fitted the BBQ & Press™ Grill with 2 temperature control dials, one for each plate. As a result, each plate can output a different amount of heat to perfect meals to individual preferences.
This feature proves very useful when used in tandem with the open BBQ mode, which allows each plate to lie flat for use as individual searing plates. Setting each plate to different temperature levels then allows for multiple foods to be cooked at once.
For ultimate convenience, the Sage BBQ & Press™ Grill is kitted out with 3 pre-programmed functions for paninis, burgers and searing. Therefore it’s easy to start cooking with it straight out of the box.
To ensure that the BBQ & Press™ Grill is easy to use at every stage, Sage has ensured it is easy to clean. To this end, the ceramic grilling plates are covered in a PFOA and PTFE free non-stick coating, making it easy to clean and wash away any grease and residue. However, that’s not all, as Sage has ensured that the plates are dishwasher safe for true cleaning convenience.
