Excellent machine, augur is brilliant. The flip option is a cool idea but too small to have practical advantage.. so it's a pain in the butt. I would prefer a wider opening on top.. Only real complaint is with the flip top opening. For cleaning purposes it would be handy if it was removable at the touch of a button.. when cleaning and you look up inside from the bottom there is always a little something caught around the pivot points.. a pain in the butt.... excellent product..
The Kuvings B8200 is a great juicer that is equipped with a wide 82mm flip top feed chute. This feed chute is the same as featured in the EVO820 model and makes juicing whole fruits and vegetables very while increasing user safety, especially for children learning to juice. The Kuvings B8200 juicer is packing a great 82mm wide feed chute, which allows ingredients to be juiced in larger chunks than a standard feed juicer. The unique flip-top design makes it easy to juice quickly and is optimised for use with chunks of fruits. It also provides additional security by preventing hands and fingers from reaching down to the augur.
Additionally to the flip top design, the B8200 has a cut out in its lid that has been built for the juicing of long ingredients. Juicing these ingredients would only be possible with extra preparation with the flip top, so this feature is great for saving time.
Kuvings juicers are made to last and the EVO820 is no exception with a very durable and well thought out design. The key juicing components are all made from highly durable plastics with Tritan and Ultem making up a large part of the materials used. These plastics, in particular, are highly damage resistant and are built to handle more strain than standard ABS plastics.
Over the years Kuvings have continually upgraded the features and quality of their wide feed juicers and in 2018 they have made a few more improvements across the board. The most important of these, is the addition of a 4th interlock connector between the hopper and the juicing bowl. Having an additional connector makes the connection between these parts stronger and increases the load they can handle in terms of pressure. Having the ability to cope with high pressure is especially important for juicers that are made to be compatible with larger pieces of ingredients.
