Why you Should be Drinking Green Smoothies

A green smoothie will contain some kind of leafy green, such as kale, spinach and bok choy. Leafy greens are so nutritional , as they are loaded with a great variety of different vitamins (in particular vitamin K, C, E and also B vitamins) and minerals (i.e. iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium). Chances are your not eating enough of these greens, so what better way to disguise the taste with something delicious. Once your taste buds are used to all things green you’ll be slurping your smoothies in no time.

Another great benefit is that the greens in your smoothie help alkalize the body. Keeping a good alkaline to acid balance is so important in maintaining optimal health.
