Description

If you want to mill your own flour at home without spending a fortune, the Mockmill 100 Grain Mill GM25 is a brilliant place to start. This German-made electric grain mill is built with the same care and engineering Mockmill is known for, giving you fresh, nutrient-rich flour on demand. With a 360W motor and ceramic corundum self-sharpening stones, it produces up to 100g of fine flour per minute, delivering impressive results in an affordable, eco-conscious design.

Key Features

  • 360W motor producing approx. 100g/min of fine flour

  • Continuous grind adjustment from ultra-fine flour to coarse grist

  • 90mm (3.5”) ceramic corundum self-sharpening milling stones

  • 1.1kg hopper capacity (wheat)

  • Housing made from renewable Arboblend®

  • Made in Germany

Everyday milling made easy

The Mockmill 100 is designed to be used regularly, not kept in a cupboard for “special occasions”. Its 360W motor runs at around 1,300 rpm (230V) and delivers steady, reliable milling performance for everyday baking. The milling surface is optimised for efficiency, and the stones grind smoothly and evenly, producing fresh flour at roughly 100g per minute.

Adjustable flour texture, from fine to coarse

Different recipes need different flour textures, and the Mockmill 100 makes it easy to switch between them. Using the simple adjustment lever, you can continuously change the grind from very fine flour for baking through to coarser grist for cereals and rustic recipes. The 1.1kg hopper also means fewer refills when you’re milling larger quantities. It can even mill beans, making it useful beyond baking, too.

Sustainable build with long-term reliability

Mockmill places sustainability at the centre of its design. The housing is made from Arboblend®, a renewable material created from waste wood and bioplastic resin (including Terluran® formulations). It’s durable, practical and finished in a clean neutral tone that looks good on the worktop. Designed by Wolfgang Mock and backed by decades of German milling heritage, the Mockmill 100 delivers excellent value without cutting corners.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which grains can the Mockmill 100 mill?
The Mockmill 100 is perfect for grinding wheat, both hard and soft, as well as spelt, rye, barley, dehulled oats, millet, rice and other dry, non-oily grains. It can also handle dried beans and legumes.

Can it grind gluten-free grains?
Yes, it can process gluten-free options such as rice, buckwheat, millet and certified gluten-free oats. Always make sure the grains are thoroughly dry before use.

How fine is the flour it produces?
The texture is fully adjustable, allowing you to switch from ultra-fine flour for bread and pastries to a coarser grind for porridge, muesli or hearty loaves. On the finest setting, it creates beautifully soft flour suited to everyday baking.

What is its output capacity?
It produces around 100 grams of fine flour per minute. With a hopper capacity of 1.1 kg of wheat, it is suitable for both smaller batches and larger baking sessions.

Are the milling stones long-lasting?
Yes. The 90 mm ceramic corundum stones are self-sharpening and built for durability. With correct use and care, they deliver reliable performance for many years.

Is it loud during operation?
Some sound is normal, as with most electric grain mills. That said, it is designed for comfortable home use and operates smoothly for its power level.

Does it need special maintenance?
Very little upkeep is required. Brush away excess flour when necessary and avoid milling damp or oily ingredients. The stones sharpen themselves, so manual sharpening is not needed.

Can it grind fresh or damp grains?
No. Only fully dry grains and legumes should be milled. Damp or oily ingredients may harm the stones and internal parts.

Is it suitable for everyday use?
Yes. The 360-watt motor and solid German engineering make it well-suited to regular home baking and daily milling.

What is special about Arboblend®?
Arboblend® is a renewable material created from waste wood fibres and bioplastic resins. It offers a strong, durable housing while lowering environmental impact compared with conventional plastics.

Where is the Mockmill 100 manufactured?
The Mockmill 100 is made in Germany, backed by decades of engineering expertise and nearly 40 years of grain mill design experience from Wolfgang Mock.

Why choose to mill flour at home?
Freshly milled flour keeps the natural flavour, aroma and nutrients of whole grains. Milling as you need it ensures peak freshness and gives you full control over what goes into your baking.
