The Cold XL comes with a sealable 2-litre juice jug, so you can make a big batch of juice for storing. This isn’t the only feature that XL, Sage have created a big 88 mm feed chute which will be able to juice bigger pieces of fruit and vegetables. This feature will enable you to juice 5 times faster than the standard juicer. You’ll also get a 1500 watt motor which will be able to keep up with your speedy juicing.
Cut down on the prep that slows you down, all thanks to the larger hopper. Now measuring 88 mm you will be able to juice whole small fruits and vegetables without having to prepare them. We recommend cutting larger produce in half to get a better yield, but you will notice you're juicing process is a lot quicker with the helping hand of the Nutri Cold XL.
To handle the extra load, Sage has added a powerful variable speed motor, packing 1500 watts. This will ensure the Nutri Cold can blitz through tough ingredients without affecting the performance. Due to the variable speed motor, the Nutri Cold XL can also handle soft fruits when set to a low setting.
Many Centrifugal juicers get branded with killing vital antioxidants and nutrients, which makes juicing pointless. Sage has created a Cold Spin Technology, which allows juice to flow up through the stainless steel cutting disc surrounded by an Italian-made mesh filter. This ensures there is no marginal temperature increase of less than 1°C.
There are three settings in total on the Nutri Cold XL, one of them being the quiet setting which reduces mechanical noise by 40%. The variable speed control allows you to adjust the speed depending on the fruit and vegetables you are juicing. For example, if you are juicing hard vegetables and fruits, you should increase the speed to a higher setting so the Nutri Cold can process it easier.
The 2-litre juicing jug is ideal for a whole family who loves juice. You can easily juice and instantly seal the 2-litre jug and store it in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. A handy juice nozzle is also provided for single servings if you aren’t interested in sharing! To collect every drop of juice, after juicing just remove the blades and pour out any excess juice inside the filter bowl into the juice jug.
