The Best Juicers of 2018

With so many juicers on the market, it can be difficult to narrow down the best juicer for you. We have several categories including, easy to use, easy to clean, best for citrus, best yield, the most versatile, budget-friendly, the most stylish and best all-round juicer. We hope our juicer guide helps in deciding on the perfect juicer for you.

Easy to Use

Hurom H-AI Self Feeding Juicer

Probably the easiest juicer to use, the H-AI requires you to do very little work. Load the self-feeding hopper up with prepared ingredients, switch on and let the H-AI get to work. No more waiting for each ingredient to juice before you can add another ingredient as there is an added mixing bar that rotates and cuts ingredients up. You won’t have to worry about blockages and the chopped ingredients will then be pushed down into the juicing chamber with no need of a juicing pusher.

Wide Feed Juicers

All wide feed juicers make it extremely quick to juice. You will still have to prepare your ingredients, but you can get away with much bigger chunks. We offer a selection of wide feed juicers including the Kuvings C9500Kuvings EVO820 and the Omega MMV702 Mega Mouth. All of these have a slow rotation per minute, which means you’ll get a high yield as well as great tasting juice.

Centrifugal Juicers

These juicers typically have spinning blades that spin against a mesh filter, separating the juice from its body. These blades tend to spin very fast, which can often affect the yield. However, if you want speedy juicing Sage offer a variety of centrifugal juicers at a great price.

Easy to Clean

Hurom H100 Slow Juicer

The H100 is especially exciting because of its new method of separating juice and pulp. Unlike other vertical models which use a sieving screen around the augur, this model instead uses a strainer. This consists of 2 parts that slot together, leaving only very thin slits for juice to pass through. This strainer is much easier to clean after juicing since it can be separated, leaving plenty of room to reach bits of remaining pulp, plus you won’t have to clean anything that resembles a sieve.

Best for Citrus

Sage 800CPUK Citri Press Pro Juicer

This is a great little device to have if you love drinking freshly squeezed orange juice. Simply cut your citrus fruit in half and let the Sage 800CPUK give you fresh juice quickly. The uniquely designed Quadra Fin cone efficiently juices all kinds of citrus fruit from limes, to lemons, to oranges, to grapefruits.

Hurom Auto Citrus Juicer

If you're looking for a slightly cheaper option, Huroms citrus juicer is a great alternative. It has an adjustable juice spout that can either be set in the upwards locked position or the downwards open position. When pushed up it acts as a stopper, preventing juice from flowing out of the device, while also preventing any drips of remaining juice. When in the downward position it allows for accurate juice flow into any selected glass or container.

Highest Yield

Angel Juicer 8500s, 7500 & 5500

The Angel's twin-gears mimic the grinding process of molars which ensures as much juice as possible is squeezed out. Even the densest of leafy greens like kale, wheatgrass, and spinach have a good yield when you use an Angel.

The Angel juicers are without a doubt the best twin gear juicers, with a premium surgical stainless-steel build, it can put ingredients through intense pressure, ensuring every drop of juice is extracted.

If you’re serious about juicing, this machine is worth the price tag. Sporting a 3 horsepower motor, this juicer earns its title as one of the most powerful juicers on the market. With slow, masticating twin gears, the model is ideal for thick produce and low oxidation levels, meaning less foamy juices and an enzyme packed juice that can survive 24 hours in the fridge.

Green Star Pro

The unique shape of the Green Star Pro’s twin gears allows them to be more efficient and function better. They also have magnetic and bioceramic technology embedded into them, which keeps the juice produced fresher for longer, with minimal loss of its enzyme and vitamin content.

Generally, twin gear juicers are often regarded as the best for anyone following a nutritional therapy regime. This is because of their superior nutrient extraction by using three juicing stages, crushing, mixing, and pressing.

Green Star Elite

We are aware that the Angel and Green Star Pro are very expensive, therefore, we also want to mention the Green Star Elite. This is a more affordable yet still impressive twin gear option with bigger gears and a reduction in parts.

Budget Friendly

Hurom DU Horizontal Slow Juicer

The Hurom DU is our most affordable juicer with so much to offer. It features a unique and useful end cap design that uses a cutting blade to help the juicing process. The DU is also compatible with a homogenising blank and 4 nozzles, allowing it to perform more functions than just juicing, for example, you can easily make pasta, dough, nut butter and breadcrumbs. The Hurom DU is incredibly compact and it measures just 16 cm in length. This makes it one of the slimmest horizontal juicers ever released which is perfect for kitchens that have limited space.

Hurom HV Slow Juicer

This juicer uses the same juicing mechanism as the renowned Omega VSJ, yet it is available at a much lower price. The Hurom HV is a cost-effective alternative to the discontinued Hurom 2nd Generation collection. The double-winged augur design allows the HV to do double the work of a single augur juicer, and its pulp discharge control lever allows for optimal pressure to be applied to different types of ingredients.

Best for Versatility

Hurom GH Chef

This was Huroms first-ever horizontal juicer which contains a number of accessories and a unique drip tray. The GH Chef runs at 80 RPM and like most horizontal juicers it performs best with leafy greens and hard vegetables, there is also a pressure nozzle which allows for optimal juice extraction. You can create a whole host of food including pasta, baby food, nut butter and fish cakes to name a few.

Omega Sana 707

This is by far one of our most popular juicers which offers amazing performance and an astounding number of accessories making it a great deal for its cost. When that is combined with a sleek and very minimalistic design the Omega Sana 707 ticks all the top criteria for a premium juicer. Like the GH Chef, it comes with a set of nozzles, but it also includes a stainless steel pulp collector, a glass juice collector jug, a coarse screen, a fine screen and a homogenising blank.

Best Design

Hurom H-AE

Hurom have paired up with the world-renowned designer Giorgetto Giugiaro to produce the H-AE. It is a unique juicer with a heavy emphasis on design, which has led to a result that is very different from your average juicer. What makes the H-AE especially interesting is the two different sized inlets. One inlet is perfect for longer produce like carrots and celery and the other is ideal for small fruits such as berries.

Hurom H100 Slow Juicer

This H100 definitely has a splash of sophistication with a very compact juicer body. It has a platinum silver finish with a clear juicing chamber, so you can see every part of your juicing process. Like the H-AE it has two inlets which allow you to process a number of different shaped ingredients easily.

Omega Sana 707

The Omega 707 has a sleek curved body that looks very minimalistic, it wouldn’t look out of place in any kitchen. You’ll also receive a stainless steel pulp collector jug and a glass jug juice collector, which makes the Omega Sana 707 even more desirable. It’s simple and easy to use and is available in Ferrari red, pearl white and chrome.

Best all Round

Hurom H-AA Alpha 3rd Generation Slow Juicer

It is a fantastic juicer in terms of value, versatility and performance and it is able to juice all ingredient types to a respectable level. Not only this, but its ultra-quiet, a practical size, and a has a slow rotation per minute. The H-AA quickly extracts juice from soft fruits, tough vegetables, leafy greens, nuts, and tofu. The design is slick and compact which makes the H-AA an incredible option for nearly anyone.

Honourable Mentions

While we view the H-AA to be a fantastic juicer, that doesn’t make it the perfect choice for everyone. We also want to mention that our 2nd place winner was the incredible Hurom H-AI. As the UK’s first self-feeding juicer, this model offers a lot and it tops for innovation, matches the H-AA for performance and offers a unique and user friendly design. It nearly took the top spot, we just felt that the H-AA offered such great value it couldn’t be outcompeted on this occasion.
